I have experience of running a wide range of counselling training, from introductory courses through to professional training and development.
My approach to training is to provide a safe and secure environment where students can bring themselves fully to the learning process which facilitates learning and growth from personal experience.
Being dyslexic myself, I am aware of the many different learning styles and approaches of individual students, so the form and content of teaching sessions are designed to suit neurodiversity. Learning can take the form of presentations, videos, demonstrations, reading, individual reflection, and small group discussions.
